The Developmental Arc: Three Stages of Mastery

Structural Foundations

  • The 3+1 Rhythm: Each year follows a consistent pulse: Term 1: Engineering (Body), Term 2: Arts (Soul), Term 3: Coding (Brain), and Term 4: Synthesis (Life).

  • Material Focus: Every year centers on a specific material class (e.g., Cellulose, Polymers, Lignin, Translucents, Elastomers) to build deep physical intuition.

  • Safety & Stewardship Standards: Safety is treated as a professional standard rather than a list of rules. Students earn "Licenses" (e.g., Safe-Saw, Vector Pilot, Laser Watch) as prerequisites for hardware access.

Function-to-Finish: Learn core skills, integrate them, finish with style, and share it with others.

Learning Goals

  • The Head: Knowledge and understanding of concepts; thinking and logic.

  • The Hands: Tools Handling Techniques

  • The Heart: Habits and Values

  • The Soul: Design and Storytelling

The 5-Digit Identification Logic

To ensure structural clarity across the 10-year journey, all units utilize a 5-digit ID:

  • Digits 1-2: The Year (e.g., 01 for Year 1, 10 for Year 10).

  • Digit 3: The Term (e.g., 1 for Engineering, 4 for Synthesis).

Digits 4-5: The Global Unit Number (01–40).

  • Stage 1: The Explorers (Ages 7–9 | Years 01–03): * Focus: Awakening foundational self-efficacy.

Core Skills: Manual dexterity, basic circuit logic, and the "Function-to-Finish" workflow using safe-tools.

  • Stage 2: The Architects (Ages 10–13 | Years 04–07): * Focus: Equipping technical precision.

Core Skills: 3D modeling, text-based Python coding, CNC manufacturing, and mobile app integration.

  • Stage 3: The Innovators (Ages 14–16 | Years 08–10): * Focus: Bringing world-changing ideas to life.

Core Skills: Cloud networking, AI orchestration, batch production, and social impact auditing.
